I bought my son a fitting yesterday with Blake Smith. I've had several fittings in the past. This was different. The science and explanations of what Blake was doing went far beyond what I had experienced before. My son's body had completely changed since his last fitting as he has put on 30 pounds of muscle since he graduated from high school. Switching out the shafts straightened out his flight path in a matter of minutes. True Spec has a premium price, but you do get what you pay for. I'm coming back when it's time to switch out my clubs. I wrote the above about a year ago, but apparently didn't post it. It's still valid. I did come back today to do a full bag fitting with Alex Carbone. To their credit, he did not try to switch me out of my woods/hybrids as the difference between the newer technology and what I am using is not significantly different. I did switch out my irons as the data indicated that I would get around 7 percent more distance, with better accuracy. I also switched out my putter; for me, this was finding a balance between stability and feel. The process is scientific and sound. I highly recommend them.

Great putter fitting experience. I highly recommend Alex and True Spec Scottsdale. I am an engineer with OCD. So I did my best to over analyze and to overload Alex with questions. He was very knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more patient with me. I ended up with an L.A.B. Putter and I’m confident that I will enjoy if for years to come.
