Bobby was really great working with me. I was never fit into a driver before and just wanted to see if I could retro fit a shaft into my existing driver head having only recently started playing. That said, Bobby still let me try new driver and shaft combos so I could understand how much the driver head plays a role in this process. While we actually found a new driver head and shaft combo that showed significant game improvement, I couldn’t justify buying a new driver just based on where I’m at skills wise and we then worked on getting a shaft that got the most performance out of my existing head. There was no pressure at all to buy an entirely new driver and he was totally understanding of how I was thinking. This did not dissuade him at all or curb any enthusiasm from trying to make my current driver head work. After going past the slotted appointment time, I was eventually fit into a new driver shaft. I actually came in ready to spend money equivalent to a Ventus Velocore shaft. Turns out, my swing tempo and timing showed an insane amount of consistency and tight dispersion using the Fujikura Vista Pro which was significantly less expensive. In fact, I was actually really trying to make the “premium” Ventus work and Bobby stood firm recommending the Vista Pro. Overall, I had a great time - I felt relaxed and felt no pressure to swing well and not rushed at all. I have already recommended this place to my coworkers and friends - very excited to take the new shaft out on course when it gets here. I will be coming back once my game improves!
