Very comfortable experience. Not pushing product (& $$) like some of the other shops. Will be back.

I had already left a review after my initial fitting at True Spec with Patrick, but I felt compelled to write another after a follow-up experience that really stood out. After receiving my clubs, I went back for a few small adjustments with my driver. Not only did Patrick take the time to dial everything in even further, but he also did it free of charge just to make sure everything was perfect. That level of service is rare. He genuinely cared about getting me into the right setup and making sure I was fully confident with my equipment—not just during the initial fitting, but even after I had the clubs in hand. The entire process felt thoughtful, personalized, and never rushed. I’ve already seen the benefits on the course, and I can confidently say it was well worth it. If you’re considering a fitting, I can’t recommend Patrick Carey and True Spec enough—especially if you have the chance to work with someone who takes as much pride in their work as he does.

Amazing experience with Patrick. I went in for a full bag fitting. He’s friendly, professional and knowledgeable - really cares about helping you achieve your golf goals. There’s no hard sell and he patiently explained the key stats that would impact my club selection. More than happy to pay for the extra service with custom clubs. Of all the club fitter locations that exist in NYC, I chose Chelsea Piers because there is plenty of parking. I’d rather not lug my clubs on the subway to a fitter. It’s a good spot and it would be better if there was a parking credit for a full bag fitting. Parking for several hours ended up costing me $63. You won’t be disappointed with Patrick and True Spec.
