Today was the second time I have worked with Tim Newbolt and True Spec golf, the first for a driver fitting and the second (today) for an iron and wedge fitting. Tim is a total professional, a pleasure to work with and very skilled at his job. He takes his time to consider a number of options, analyze all the data and explain the best options available. As an engineer, I tend to ask probing questions and it's clear Tim knows his stuff! One thing that really impressed me was that for my driver fitting last year I was coming off an injury, swinging poorly and he still figured me out and got me into a great fit. Now that I'm healthy and swinging much better the driver is a perfect fit! I have no doubt after today's iron and wedge fitting that I will be equally pleased when my new irons and wedges arrive. Getting custom fit and ordering clubs thru True Spec requires a serious investment from a golfer, but after two fittings with Tim I feel confident I got every penny's worth. My adult son David (a + HC) felt the same way after his iron fitting with Tim some time ago. We will both be back in fall to see Tim for fairway wood fittings. I would recommend Tim Newbolt & True Spec to anyone willing to invest in obtaining the best possible fit. Having built and managed two successful businesses myself for over three decades, I can tell you this: if all your fitters are as knowledgeable and helpful as Tim Newbolt, True Spec is here to stay!
