I visited the Tru Spec Golf facility in Houston yesterday for a Full Bag club fitting. It was much longer and more thorough than any of my prior fittings elsewhere. I hit shots with my driver, 3, 5 & 7 woods and various irons. I hit a variety of head and shaft combinations to compare to my clubs but more importantly to find improvements in carry distance and accuracy.. Be ready to hit a lot of balls! My instructor Andrew was excellent. He communicated well as we tried lots of combinations and discussed the data results (swing speed, spin, carry, etc.) with the multiple head/shafts. . He did not try to upsell me on different clubs when my existing fairway woods and lob wedge fit fine in my bag now. I recommend the full bag fitting if you really want to understand your current club dynamics and what equipment is available for improvement with your current swing. My new driver and 5,6,7,8,9,PW,GW,SW will arrive at my home within 4 weeks. Not cheap, but I believe the new equipment will help my game. Hopefully. James 8/28/26
