PING G430

The PING G430 was a highly anticipated new release to the market. The G425 was one of the highest rated drivers that PING has ever put out. We saw tons of great players get fitted with the PING G425 in 2022. With the PING G430 arriving in all the True Spec locations, we felt like it was a good idea to give you a breakdown of what you can expect from this new driver and whether or not it could be a good fit for your golf game. Let’s take a look at the new PING G430 driver, fairway, hybrid, and irons.

PING G430 Drivers

In addition to the new Ping G430 drivers being added to the True Spec matrix, we also did some independent testing to see how the spin rates, driver ball speeds, and carry distance compared. The T9S+ forged face in these drivers helps to improve ball speed and generate quite a bit of distance.

PING G430 LST

The LST Model is the low spin option designed to give players plenty of distance off the tee. The new Carbon Fly Wrap helped to reduce overall weight and increase ball speed at the same time. PING was careful not just to lower spin on this driver head but also to make it consistent throughout; the ball speeds on this club are high.

PING G430 MAX

The Ping G430 Max driver is the most forgiving of the line-up. It has high ball speed, is not overly draw bias, and produces some incredible total distances.

PING G430 SFT

The Ping G430 SFT is the straight-flight technology driver. This is a draw-bias golf club designed to straighten out a shot off the tee. If you happen to slice the ball, expect the G430 SFT to get your golf ball back in play. This driver features a changing weight port to really change up the ball flight.

PING G430 Irons, Hybrids, and Fairways

The Ping G430 irons feature a thin face and a low center of gravity. This is a game-improvement iron with plenty of ball speed and an impressive feel. The G430 irons feature a tungsten toe and plenty of stability and forgiveness.

The Ping G430 irons will blend in perfectly with the irons if you are looking to fill the bag with PING golf clubs. They come in both a standard and an HL version.

When it comes to fairway woods, you will also have a choice between a Max, Max HL, or an SFT model. The PING fairway woods have a sleek look to them and resemble the driver clubheads.
