EIGHT UNDER GOLF WITH MIKE BURY

After playing professional golf in Australia, six-time Golf Digest award-winning instructor, Mike Bury, moved to the US and began teaching professionally in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2008. Since then, Mike regularly teaches around the country in cities like New York and Chicago and has built a significant social media following. Eight Under is the manifestation of a vision Mike has had for many years, and he believes it’s the best place to get the most meaningful practice and training in golf.

I am a 95 to 100 golfer. I went to Tate to get a new custom driver. Day 1 I had a bad session and rather than force fit me into a club we arranged to come back for a session. He did not charge me for day 1. Day 2 was much better and we saw some good opportunities. Tate was very patient and we looked at a bunch of driver and shaft combinations. He was super thorough, and listened to my feedback after each swing carefully making adjustments. I moved to a TSR2 9 degree head with a Fujikura 50 gram shaft. Tate explained the build process so I knew the price and what I was getting. I waited 2.5 weeks and it came as spec'd. What a difference. So much easier to swing and my strikes are more on center. Great experience. Thanks Tate for helping me on my quest to break 90.
