Step One

Interview/Blueprint

Upon arrival, your master fitter will greet you and begin to identify the goals and objectives for your fitting session. As you are warming up, your fitter will do a spec check and blueprint of your current clubs. The blueprint is a look “under the hood” at how your current clubs are made.

Step Two

Test Equipment

Your master fitter will select a variety of products for you to test, all with the objective of showing improvements in the areas identified during the interview. If you so choose, the equipment test is also your opportunity to test a specific product against your current clubs.

Step Three

Recommendation

Next comes the recommendation for your best combination of club head, shaft, and grip. Each component of your fitting will be explained and verified with launch monitor data. Your fitter will also provide a detailed fitting report which includes your recommended equipment, the prescribed build specifications, and a shot report from your launch monitor data.

Build Process

After receiving your fitting specs, our team of master builders will hand assemble each of your clubs to the tightest tolerances in the industry, without exception.

Step One

Dry Build

All parts are weighed, sorted, and matched with the prescription. Once the parts are weighed, they are built to the exact specifications that are requested.

What’s SST PURE?

Because golf shafts aren’t perfectly straight or perfectly round, we offer all clients the option to put their order through the SST PUREing process, which analyzes the structure and identifies its most stable bending plane or neutral-axis. This helps prevent off-line bending and twisting in the shaft during the golf swing and leads to more consistent shots.

Step Two

Assembly

All clubs are pieced together with a high strength epoxy adhesive. They are left to cure until the epoxy is dry. Next, they are cut down to the specified length and ferrules are shaved appropriately. In the final building stage, the clubs are loft, lied, and the grips are installed.

Step Three

Finishing

The proper shaft labels and stickers are applied, all specs are confirmed, and the clubs go through one final deep cleaning. They are then boxed, shipped, and delivered to your doorstep!
