The Callaway Rogue series of golf drivers and fairway woods have been a good addition for Callaway. Each club in the series has had impressive distance and forgiveness. One of the great things about the newest Callaway Rogue series is the fact that there are options for all players. This ST TD-S Driver and Wood are based on the Triple Diamond model with a bit more features to support the best players in the game. This is, without a doubt, a tour-proven lineup and something that True Spec has recently added to the fitting matrix.

Callaway Rogue ST TD-S Driver

The Rogue ST TD-S Driver is very similar to the Triple Diamond model that we have seen from Callaway. However, this is a bit smaller than the standard. The current USGA Regulation on the size of a driver’s head is 460cc. With the new Rogue, ST TD-S expect a 440cc club head.

In this instance, Callaway felt that bigger is not always better. The 440cc clubhead allows players to gain more club head speed and control. As golfers come through the golf ball, they will notice it’s easier to control the club head.

The neutral shot shape is easily adjusted with the wrench and 2-gram weight. The club is available in an 8.5 and 10.5-degree loft. Overall the Rogue ST TD-S has mid-spin characteristics helping golfers to have a very neutral overall flight.

Callaway Rogue ST TD-S Fairway Wood

The custom Callaway Rogue ST TD-S Fairway wood is again designed for the better player looking for more control and a compact footprint. This could be a smart choice to consider if you are not a fan of a large and bulky fairway wood.

In fact, Callaway even claims that their Triple Diamond fairway woods are the most fade-capable fairway woods in the lineup. This is for golfers that want to hit that controlled fade that can help with a soft landing and better control.

The fairway wood features a deep face with a Tungsten Speed Cartridge. The A. I designed Jailbreak system is newly designed to increase the overall speed and stability that players can get. The Jailbreak batwings also make this clubface a bit stiffer than other models, something that faster swinging players will undoubtedly benefit from.

Who Should Play the Callaway ST TD-S Driver and Wood?

This addition to the lineup for Callaway was, without a doubt, built for the lower handicap players that make contact with the center of the clubface. The Rogue line is large, and there are options for all levels of play. However, the Triple Diamond series indicates that you should have high club head speed and plenty of control before switching to this driver.

The Callaway Rogue ST TD-S is currently available in the True Spec lineup, and you can pair it with a range of golf shafts that could work for the specifics of your golf game. Talk to a True Spec Master Fitter to see if this could be the right club for your game.
