Located west of Chicago in Geneva inside Impastato Golf Academy’s 20,000 square foot facility, True Spec Chicago West includes a spacious indoor fitting bay, a world-class putting studio, and utilizes the industry’s first quadroscopic launch monitor, Foresight GCQuad. True Spec Chicago West also features our signature brand-agnostic fitting matrix of over 70,000 clubhead and shaft combinations which helps our master fitters find the best equipment to improve your golf game.

IMPASTATO GOLF ACADEMY WITH DAVID IMPASTATO

Owner David Impastato has been a PGA member for 26 years and is a Golf Digest best in state teacher and GRAA Top 100 teacher. The Impastato Golf Academy teaches all levels of instruction to all age groups. The IGA’s Golf Learning Center in Geneva features 11 hitting bays, putting studio, full work out facility, men’s and lady’s locker rooms, full kitchen for private parties and a board room.

I had a second fitting with Devon at True Spec Golf. I had previously completed a driver fitting and this time I went in for an iron fitting. Again, he was very thorough in understanding my needs and matching my swing to the right equipment. Like last time he spent as much time as needed to be sure we tested all the relevant combinations of manufacturers and shafts. I highly recommend working with Devon.

I'm not a low handicap pro looking for an extra stroke or two on the course. I'm a high handicap player who wanted to see if the clubs I was using were right for me. Quickly I learned how much the right equipment for your own body and swing is beneficial. Devon is master of picking from a frankly insane amount of different club heads, shaft lengths, shaft weights, and so many other options to find out what worked for me. I plan on going back and getting fitted for other clubs here in the near future. For now my irons are👌
