TALKING STICK GOLF CLUB – SCOTTSDALE, AZ

Talking Stick Golf Club, a Native-American owned enterprise, is home to two distinct layouts, the O’odham Course and the Piipaash Course, both designed by world-renowned architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. The facility also features a 17,000 square foot driving range as well as the brand new Talking Stick Golf Club Teaching Center and Golf Academy.

Marc Roybal was fantastic to work with. My iron fitting was supposed to be about an hour, but he spent close to two hours with me and never made me feel rushed. We tried several different heads and shafts, and he really took the time to understand what I liked, what I didn’t, and what actually worked best for my swing. I especially appreciated that he focused on dispersion, consistency, and feel, not just which club went the farthest. He explained what he was seeing throughout the fitting without making it overly technical, and the whole experience was relaxed and genuinely fun. I left feeling confident in the setup we found and would absolutely recommend Marc to anyone looking for a thorough, thoughtful club fitting.
